We hope to encourage every person to use whatever talent, profession, and passion God has given them to make a difference in the lives of people they meet.
We both grew up as Pastor's kids and everybody thought that we would follow in the footsteps of our parents but both of our parents did not ask us to become pastors instead they asked us to become professionals and excel in whatever field we choose to be in and support the ministry.
Nathan is a licensed Civil Engineer and Erna is an IT Professional who specializes in Web Design and Development. Our professions lead us to people whom God has prepared for us to minister to.
Nathan used his profession to provide services to local churches needing his help and led several Work and Witness teams for our local church. Nathan started a small construction company to provide jobs to fathers who are raising and feeding their families. These fathers have been construction workers almost all of their life but never had a chance to build a house of their own. This led Nathan to meet people who have become like a family to us.
Erna has served the church since 2007 from being a working student until she became a professional. She has served pastors and church leaders needing her expertise in her field around the world.
If we are both given the chance to change our careers, we would say yes! We said Yes in 2020, yes to what the Lord has for us and for our family. We are changing careers from career professionals to professional missionaries and we are in the final months of our preparation before our deployment.
We hope to share with your our journey. Our family is moving to a creative access area where the gospel is restricted but very much needed. We are obeying God's call for us to go there and join God in what He is already doing and to meet the people He has already prepared for us to meet.

And remember that you can always use whatever is in your hand to make a difference in the lives of others. Use whatever talent, job, hobby, and profession, and listen to where the Spirit is leading you
